1975 Spencer 48 Cruising Sloop Seller Description

NEW PROF. ANTIFOUL – WEEKEND/COASTAL CRUISER
Superbly maintained John Spencer aft cabin, centre cockpit yacht. This sleek, classic cruiser has been set up for short-handed sailing and includes many creature comforts. Teak decks, which extend to the cockpit, are in pristine condition. Able to be sailed easily by a couple or single-handed thanks to her Furlboom main and furling headsail combined with a shoal draft keel. Fastidiously cared for and professionally repainted in 2009 she comes complete with a near new sail wardrobe and a recent electronics upgrade to LED throughout which ensure that she truly belies her age. The interior is airy and well set out. Stepping down into the cabin the U-shaped galley with 3 burner stove/oven is to port and features a deep double sink. The large chart table is to starboard with the saloon further forward. The electric head is further forward with ample storage space. Accommodation includes large double v-berth forward, 4 quarter berths in the main cabin and an aft cabin with king size berth. This yacht is in excellent condition and has recent survey documents available on request.
Inspection will not disappoint!
